Sports do not get much more popular than golf and therefore the number of golf websites is simply incredible. The difficulty for the amateur golfer is that there is just too much info.
When you visit search engines you will be returned too much information.
For example just as a random search I have just gone to Google and typed in "buy new seven iron" without the quotation marks. I have been returned no less than 18,600,000 results.
That is not particularly helpful.I just have too much to consider, particularly as a quick look through the first page of websites suggests a lot of narrow websites rather then a the general overview retailer that i was hoping for
As another example I have tried "golf course in Arizona".This time there is 3,400,000 pages found.
It occurred to me that there must be a solution to this; a way of cutting through the overwhelming amount of information supplied by the might of Google.
Suddenly after hours of wasted time the solution arrived.
My answer was to make a golf toolbar for myself. Just in case you don't know toolbars are the lines of icons that sit above the main window of your computer screen.
In the toolbar I put in my favorite golfing websites so that whenever I wanted golf information it was there at the top of my screen every time I was online. It meant that I could go to my favorite store, the best course directory, the news center I created, in an instant. It Made searching life easier.
I still use Google sometimes for golf searches but in general I know that the best websites are available right at the top of my screen everyday.
I decided that it would be great for others to use the toolbar and it's here. It is for anyone to have a look at and download if they want.It is a very fast download and free of malware or spyware.
It currently features a leading golf retailer, a special site for training aids, videos and books , plus a golf news centre, a weather forecast (perhaps the most useful thing of all), a vacation booker and also some extra little games and utilities including a calorie counter.
The Golf Information toolbar.
I hope that other people find it as useful as me. It is completely free though it's only fair to point out that if you do buy anything through the retailer on there I do get a commission from them.
Please enjoy the toolbar.
The Golf toolbar.
